Dr. AlQutub is a distinguished Senior Consultant Transplant Hepatologist at King Fahad Medical
City (KFMC), where he
plays a pivotal role as the Director of Patient Safety & Risk Management Administration. His
expertise extends into
academia as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at both King Saud Bin Abdulaziz University for
Health Sciences and
Princess Noura University, demonstrating his dedication to advancing medical education and
training.
Dr. AlQutub has held several key leadership positions at KFMC, including Director of Applied
Clinical Research
Administrati on, Chairman of the Medical Specialty Department, and Section Head for
Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He
has also made significant contributions as the Program Director for the Residency Training in
Internal Medicine,
showcasing his commitment to nurturing the next generation of medical professionals.
Dr. AlQutub serves as a board member of the Saudi Society for the Study of Liver Disease and
Transplantation (SASLT).
His prior roles within SASLT include Vice-President and Treasurer, reflecting his influential
